Felix @ Visuelle Kultur: Mensch – Bild – Maschine

On 7 October, Dr Felix Schniz participated in the opening panel discussion to this semester’s Ring Lecture Visuelle Kultur: Mensch – Bild – Maschine. The talk featured representatives of various AAU departments and academic traditions as it aimed to provide an overview of contemporary research perspectives on the relation of digital imagery, human creators and spectators, and the meaning of these relations. The panelists introduced augmented reality technologies for museums to the audience, dissected the challenges of working with AI, and questioned ownership and authenticity between social media, digital archives, and video games.
